The last day of March! So hopefully you're starting to plan some healthy meals and snacks so you can enjoy productive work days away from vending machines packed with sugar, salt, and grease. Anyway, the weekend is here and you're probably already looking ahead to next weekend's holiday, but hopefully you can take a few minutes to check out these articles first.

Nutrition
A Rainbow of Fruits & Vegetables: After discussing juicing and healthy snacks, this timely article at Made Just Right can give you some guidelines regarding your fruit and vegetable selection. This post breaks down the different fruit and vegetable colors, what nutrients they contain, and their health benefits.

Raisins And 7 Other Foods That Could Naturally Lower Your Blood Pressure: This has been a common discussion lately, but it's so important. You'll see some of the foods on the list that I discussed in my last post, like bananas and kiwi. Yes, I'm driving the healthy snack theme home, but as an aside, chocolate lovers will be glad to see it on this list.

Recipe
Mango Banana Blueberry Salad: I offered fruit salads as a healthy option, and this one looks amazing. I think I'll try it on a smaller scale than Alison recommends just to see how hubby likes it. And while you're checking this one out, be sure to browse the website. She has some other great recipes on here, even if you're not interested in the raw food diet.

As a heads up for those consistently following this blog, while I'll be posting regular Tuesday and Thursday articles, there will be no resource roundup next Saturday since it will be the day before Easter and I intend to spend time with my family. And hopefully you'll enjoy some time off as well.

And on that note, I wish you all a beautiful weekend!
